The dream that began three years ago for Laura and Tom Mansour has become a reality. Boerne Stage Bakery and Ice Cream opened its door on April 2011. The bakery is open everyday 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.. Pastries offered are sticky cinnamon rolls, breakfast sausage kolaches, bluebonnet scone. Other products are breads, quiches, chewy chocolate brownies, heart of Texas Pecan Bar and bread pudding. Twenty premium Blue Bell ice cream flavors are on the menu, too.
After consulting with a chef, the process of taste testing recipes begin. Graduates of St. Philip's Culinary College and students who are currently enrolled in the culinary program have been hired.
The philosopy of Boerne Stage Bakery and Ice Cream is quality, customer service and cleanliness. Laura and Tom believe that this will attract new customers and bring repeat customers.
